BP Solar International and Home Depot Proposed Settlement

This is an important message about a class action lawsuit proposed settlement against BP Solar International, Inc. and Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. that may affect your photovoltaic (PV) system installations.

The California Public Utilities Commission Energy Division recently requested each California Solar Initiative (CSI) program administer to notify its customers who participated in CSI or the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) and might have installed the affected BP Solar PV modules.

Please check the Long Form Notice to determine if the model numbers of BP Solar PV panels you installed are included in the lawsuit. Affected customers may receive new panels and/or an inverter as well as other possible compensation.

Please take appropriate action by November 28, 2016, if you choose to either opt out or object to the proposed settlement.

For more information, please consult the BP Solar Panel Settlement website at You also can email or call (888) 360-2767.
