High Penetration Solar Forum

In February, some 170 solar energy researchers, experts, utility officials and government leaders gathered at the University of California, San Diego to discuss the latest findings related to integrating larger amounts of solar photovoltaics into the state’s electricity system.

PG&E's MASH Program Update

The Multifamily Affordable Solar Housing (MASH) program at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is actively accepting applications and has approximately $4 million to be distributed through incentives. Currently, all applications are initially receiving wait list status; however, each application will be reviewed within days of receipt.

PG&E Celebrates Major Milestone

Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) has now interconnected more than 80,000 customer-owned solar PV systems to the power grid, representing more than 800 megawatts (MW) of electricity—more than any other utility in the nation. In fact, the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) has ranked PG&E the top utility in the US for additions of solar power for the past four consecutive years.
